Valentine’s Day

The day of love is upon us, but we wouldn’t be temper if we were busting out the red roses and chocolate fondants. No, we’re doing things a little bit differently…

From Tuesday 13th-Saturday 17th February all temper restaurants will be offering a special lunch menu for two. We’re inviting guests to split 500g of bone-in Yorkshire steak served with chips (or beef fat and smoked raclette potatoes at temper Soho) and either beef-fat béarnaise or bourbon peppercorn sauce, followed by a deep-dish brigadeiro cookie with fior di latte ice cream and a bottle of red or white wine, all for £60. It’s available from 12-3pm, and as usual once it’s gone it’s gone.

Then after dark we’ll be serving two anti-Valentine’s specials: Get Tongued tacos (tender cubes of ox tongue, pepped up by one sweet and smoky sauce and one punchy green sauce, topped with crispy shallots and served on specially-made black corn tortillas) and Eat your Heart Out skewers (ox hearts marinated in mild and fruity aji panca chilli then cooked over fire as Peruvian-style anticucho skewers, with a peanut and aji Amarillo sauce, giant corn, baby potatoes and burnt sweet romaine lettuce), they’ll also be available in all restaurants from 13th-17th February, from 5pm.
