TEMPER SOHO

A secret smokey hideaway below the streets of Soho filled with music, theatre and woodsmoke from a 6m long central firepit, (the biggest we know of in any restaurant anywhere). We have comfortable private booths and tables or you can sit by the pit and watch chefs cook big cuts of meat over an open fire, press tortillas by hand and butcher all the meat from whole animals.

We have a huge wine list and one of the biggest and best tequila and mezcal lists in the city. The food is largely non traditional South American but expect twists from all over the world and an award winning cocktail list to wash it all down.

An enticing nose of white peach and acacia blossoms with just a hint of crystallised ginger. Fresh and light zesty citrus notes on the palate lift a textured, well-rounded mouthfeel.

CASATELLANI, ”MIRAPIANO” MAREMMA TOSCANA, ITALY, 2016   £5.5 / 125ML

This wine has a delightful fruitiness with notes of cherries and white chocolate. It is dry and warming with an appealing savoury touch of balsamic on the finish. 100% Sangiovese.
