NATIONAL BUTCHERS’ WEEK

As a shrine to whole beast butchery, it stands to reason that temper is set to celebrate National Butchers’ Week from 6th-13th March. Not only will we be relaunching our Butchery & Barbecue Masterclasses, on the last Saturday of every month, but we are also introducing our Whole Beast Boards for four to share. 

Guests will be welcomed to the Butchery & Barbecue Masterclasses in proper temper style – with a Margarita – before they are taken on a whistlestop tour of provenance, ageing and cattle breeds, followed by a live butchery demonstration. Next up: making some of our famous sauces and even cheeseburger tacos. Finally, guests will be served an outrageous three-course lunch, comprising some classic temper dishes and even an exclusive meat platter before finishing up with a deep-dish Brigadeiro cookie.  

Tickets are priced at £150 per person including the masterclass, a three-course lunch, half a bottle of Syrah and a Margarita: our first class will be on Saturday 25th March at 11am. Full details can be found here… 

Our Whole Beast Board is – believe it or not – designed to showcase as many parts of the cow as possible, as ever, using only beef aged and butchered in-house. Designed for four to share it’s made up of rib-eye steak, house-made sausages, smoked ox cheek, liver and ox heart anticucho skewers, alongside coal-roasted sweet potato, pickled red onions and fresh chimichurri. Priced at £140 you can pre-order (with 48-hours’ notice) any time, or try your luck on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights when we’ll have a few set aside. But as ever, when they’re gone, they’re gone!
