temper is unique BBQ and open fire pit restaurant concept with a focus on New World wine and innovative cocktail creations. All of our restaurants have open kitchens with counter dining where food is prepared and cooked in front of you.
All of our meat is sourced from trusted farmers from across the UK and butchered in house. We serve this alongside Cornish fish and seafood on in-house made breads.
Our first restaurant, temper Soho, focuses on BBQ with a South American influence. We buy whole animals, preparing and cooking them in a variety of different ways, all served on in house made tacos and flat breads. We are open 7 days a week and serve a truly epic Sunday Roast between 12pm – 5pm on Sundays.
We have 180 seats which you can book, including a drinks lounge for pre or post dinner drinks but we always reserve room for walk-ins.
Our second restaurant, temper City opened in July 2017, serving BBQ meats and poultry alongside curry, tandoor roasted meats and home-made parathas. We serve lunch and dinner in the heart of The City of London from Monday to Saturday. Our outside caters for bookings of up to 40 people – perfect for alfresco dining.
The wine list features interesting but affordable wines alongside rarer fine wines from North and South America, as well as Old World classics. On the spirits front, we have our temper cocktail list plus a 25-strong gin list, each with a unique garnish and martini serve.

temper Covent Garden
Opened in May 2018, Temper Covent Garden is our newest restaurant. Nestled between Seven Dials and Covent Garden we will focus on wood fired pizzas, ragu, charcuterie, wine and vermouth.
Located in the heart of the West End, this 144 seater restaurant will have the signature temper-style open kitchen with counter top seating as well as a patio area for alfresco dining.
