our concept

temper is a unique BBQ and open fire pit restaurant with a huge New World wine list and cocktail bar. We cook everything in front of your eyes using only wood and charcoal in huge 4.5m long fire pit in the middle of the room.


We only use the best produce available and source our meat from local farms and butcher it all ourselves in house.


We serve this alongside cornish fish and seafood on corn tortillas and flat breads we made in house.


We have lunch taco plates and a weekly-changing tamale handmade from heritage Masienda corn which is cooked and ground on site.


We serve a Sunday Roast plus some rather special ‘Sunday sharing specials’ that change each week. Have a look at our menus here or keep up to date with our social media for details each week.


We have 180 seats which you can book but we always reserve room for walk-ins.
